Since I’ve joined DI, I’ve learned to think differently. I ask myself, "Why should I do this, the way that everyone else did it, if I can do it differently?" My solution is sometimes just as effective, or even more so, than the other way. It’s expanded my mindset, and allows me to be more creative when I do something, anything at all!
I’ve done a lot of creative things this year as a part of DI, like plumbing and electrical work, as well as a slight amount of woodworking, all to make our fountain. I’ve learned how to sew, so that we would have costumes. I’ve improved on my acting. We’ve done so many incredible things, even compared to last year!
Global Finals is an opportunity to have fun and be even more creative than we’ve been the whole entire year!
